Eight miles on Tobacco Road!

As I watched the ACC Tournament Finals between UNC and Duke, I cannot help but think about the intense rivalry between these two teams separated by eight miles on Tobacco Road.  This year the teams split in regular season play with Carolina winning the season title!  I love the HBO video below with a peak of the craziness from the HBO 2009 documentary "Battle for Tobacco Road"

Today there are many ABC (Anybody but Carolina) family and friends out there! Makes life a little stressful during a loosing Wolfpack era.  My Dad and his longtime best friend are alumni of the two other Tobacco Road schools, NCSU and WF,  their dislike for Tarheel Basketball is as intense as the Carolina - Duke rivalry!  It is always amazing to witness!  Carolina Losses...which means they are as happy as if State or Wake had won! The Tradition continues!
