Thanksgiving in the United States dates back to the early 1600's. I cannot imagine the joy during The
First Thanksgiving at Plymouth in 1621. From the harvest to the methods of cooking what an event this must have been! I would love the hear the prayer being said at this table!

Next to all the quality time with family and friends having plenty of kitchen time with my Mom is so fun ! We always prepare family recipes like my Mom's Cranberry Crunch!
We also really enjoy trying new versions of old favorites while the Macy's Day parade is in full force! Our new North Carolina sweet potato faves are sweet potato balls filled with marshmallows and roasted sweet potatoes, parsnips, carrots and golden raisins mixed with clover honey and brown sugar! Everyone is happy with beef tenderloin since we are the last stop of the day! We are starting with cranberry salsa and fig preservers over Stilton blue cheese served with pears and ending with apple and pecan pie! Add the
pumpkin pie martini and the Thanksgiving Toast is in order!
